"Current Affairs" is a series of works that respond both to pre and post election, personally as a woman, and more broadly, as a citizen reconsidering social justice and the integrity of the political climate.

Old masters works presented here are recreated with my head on both male and female protagonists, commenting on the past and current political and social affairs. I explore issues surrounding women’s rights, gender and identity, and a concerted reaction to the changing political and social climate of our era. The image holds a mirror up to contemporary society reflecting the social, historical and ontological questions.
