Interactive/multidisciplinary installation (site-specific) I initiated an Open Call requesting artist rejection letters on social media. In the room, alongside the gold leaf shredder, is a stack of rejection letters that were contributed by artists that responded to the call. The viewer is directed the golden shredder, asked to read one of the rejection letters, and is then given the opportunity to shred it. Once the shredder is full, the shredded letters are deposited in the glass urns alongside the space's periphery. This process goes on throughout the duration of the exhibition. It is a very intimate and informative piece, touching on one's struggle through commercialism and the journey of perseverance.
